Card games for playing together at home

When choosing a game, be guided by your partner’s preferences and the place to play. At home it is easier to get props for games (ropes, bottles, cups, ball). On the street you need ingenuity and available materials. Most games do not require additional props and are appropriate almost anywhere.

Games and entertainment “on paper” have been familiar to people since
school desks They are distinguished by their simplicity and the fact that they can
capture and interest from the first minutes. For such games you

or blank), as well as a writing pen or pencil.

you need to draw a grid of 9 cells. Decide on
partner who will draw what (crosses or toes). Start the game

of the same sign horizontally, diagonally or vertically.

    more characters.

leaves. The task is to take turns finding a number from 1 to 100 and circling it
him after the discovery. While you are looking for it, your partner is drawing
there are zeros around the outline of the hand. The one who draws a complete sheet wins
    zeros in the “free territory”.

two battlefields should be drawn (for each player). The field looks like

letters: from a to i, and the left vertical from 1 to 10. Inside the field, each
    the player draws ships: 1 of 4 cells, 2 of 3, 3 of 2 and 1
single). Your task is to shoot across the enemy field, calling
coordinates, for example: “a-10” or “g-7”. The first one wins

a large number of children. Everyone sits in a row. The first child comes up with

the word eventually turned out to be “spoilt”, everyone voices what they heard and
this way the loser is revealed.

When adults gather, it is mistakenly believed that they have nothing to do except talk and feast. This is wrong! There are many fun games that will allow you to have an interesting and unusual time in the company, laugh and relax. All games are designed for a company of 6 people or more. They can be played on a college camping trip, at a party or at someone's birthday.

Many games for a company do not require special preparation and props

Conversation games

  • Understand me. The company is divided into male-female pairs. You can come up with a theme yourself, for example, “Maternity hospital”. The point of the game: the “husband” asks questions about the child out loud, and the “wife” tries to answer them with gestures. The main thing is to ask unusual questions and see what gestures the “wife” will respond with.
  • Associations. The company sits in a circle. Someone starts: whispering any word into his neighbor’s ear. He, without hesitation, speaks into the ear of the next participant his association for this word. The next one is his own association, and so on until the word-association returns to the one who started the game. I wonder what the original word will be transformed into!
  • Who am I? All participants wear a paper ribbon on their forehead with the name of the movie star written on it. All participants see what is written on the foreheads of others, but do not know what is written on theirs. You need to take turns asking others questions that will help you understand what is written on your forehead. For example: “Am I a man?”, “Did I act with Tom Cruise?”, “Did I win an Oscar?” You can write the names of the animals - then the questions will be appropriate: “Do I live at the North Pole?”, “Am I a herbivore?” They play until the last pair. The loser buys everyone beer or ice cream.
  • Crocodile. Someone from the company says the name of a popular film in the ear of another participant, and he shows it with gestures to the whole company. The company's task is to guess this name. If the name consists of several words, then you can write down the guessed words so as not to forget. Of course, if you wish, you can wish for any words, not just movies.
  • “In my pants.” Any headlines are cut out from the press (magazines, newspapers). Their meaning is unimportant. They are then folded into a large envelope. Each participant takes out one headline and reads it aloud after the phrase “It’s in my pants...”. It sounds very funny - especially if it turns out something like “In my pants... there was a competition for the largest cucumber grown.”

Games with props

Target

All participants are given blank sheets of paper and pens (pencils). On the sheet you need to draw a large circle, inside of which there are 4 more circles, to get a target of five circles. You need to put a point in the middle and draw lines crosswise through it, so that the result is 4 sectors.

Participants must write: in the first circle from the center - the letters P, P, S, L, one in each sector. In the second circle - numbers from 1 to 4 in any order, in the third - one name each (animal, bird, fish, insect). The fourth contains 4 adjectives (funny: fat, drunk, stupid, lying around, etc.). In the fifth - 4 any proverbs or sayings.

Games with props are not suitable for travel, but are ideal for parties.

Now we collect all the targets and read (with attribution). The letters in the center of the circle mean: P - work, P - bed, S - family, L - love. The numbers mean where each participant ranks in work, family, bed and love. Animal and adjective - who the participant is in a given area of life. For example: Sasha is a “greedy jackal” at work, a “fat arctic fox” in bed, and so on.

Proverbs are a person’s motto in work, family, bed and love. It may turn out, for example, that “In Sasha’s bed the motto is “Without a greeting there is no answer,” and in the family the motto is “No matter how much you feed the wolf, he looks into the forest.” If playing with targets is not enough and you want to laugh more, try one of the following games!

  • Get an apple. The team is divided into male-female pairs. A couple is selected to participate in the competition. A rope is stretched at a level of 2 m from the floor. On it, at the level of an adult’s mouth, a large apple is suspended by its tail. The chosen pair must eat it without using their hands. Whichever pair ate the entire apple was the winner.
  • Transfusions. Two people from the company play. Take two bottles (one of them is empty). You need to use a straw to draw water (you can juice, mineral water or beer) from one bottle and pour it into another. Whoever does it faster is the winner. True, there is a chance that someone will drink it all and accept their defeat.
  • Floating apple. Here two from the company participate in the competition. Apples are thrown into a large bowl of water. The participants' hands are folded behind their backs. You need to grab the apple with your teeth and remove it from the water. Whoever does this first wins.
  • Mummy. Participants are divided into two teams. One of the players on each team is a “mummy”. The essence of the game: the team must wrap their “mummy” as quickly as possible. Regular toilet paper is used as bandages. Second part of the game: unwind the mummy by winding the paper back into a roll. Fun guaranteed!

If you don't have a twister, you can choose any other outdoor game!

Active games

  • Swamp. Cool old game. The company is divided into teams, but two people can participate. The players receive two cards each (you can take regular sheets of paper). Task: these cardboard boxes are “bumps”, and you should move along them from one to another in order to cross the “swamp” (room, corridor) as quickly as possible. “Drowned in the Swamp” fulfills the collective’s wish.
  • Ball battle. Participants are divided into two teams of equal size. Each participant ties an inflated balloon to his leg with a thread. You can buy balls of the same color for each team. The longer the thread, the better. The balls must be on the floor. On command, you need to destroy your opponents' balls by stepping on them with your feet, and at the same time not allow them to step on your own ball. The owner of the burst ball leaves the game. The winner is the team whose ball will be the last one to survive on the “battlefield”.
  • Oh you horses, my horses! The competition requires two pairs of participants and a room where there are no breakable objects. Each pair is divided into a “horse” and a “rider”. The “rider” sits on the shoulders of the “horse” (usually a thin girl on the shoulders of a muscular guy). A piece of paper with a written word is attached to the “rider’s” back. The other “rider” must read what is written on the opponent’s back and, at the same time, prevent him from reading what is written on him.
  • Siamese twins. The company is divided into two teams. Two people from each team participate. They are placed sideways to each other. The left leg of one participant is tied to the right leg of the other, and their torsos are tied with straps. The result is “Siamese twins”. All actions should be performed at speed. "Siamese twins" work with two different hands (one right, one left) without talking to each other. They must complete various tasks given by the opposing team: sharpen a pencil, tie shoelaces or open a bottle, pour it and drink.

Why do we all love online games so much? First of all, for the opportunity to play together. After all, this is where we can gather a team of friends - or strangers - and go beat some particularly powerful boss. Or, on the contrary, go to PvP and have fun with the characters of other players. Or maybe you want to duel with someone? This is also possible. There are many different MMOs, and there are plenty of options for interacting with other players.

But if you need a game that can be played by two (three, four) on one computer? What should all hotseat lovers play? It’s more complicated here, and the choice, at first glance, is not so great. But nonetheless, games you can play together on the same PC, not so little. And we are ready to provide you with our top 10 such toys.

10. FIFA 15

This game can definitely be recommended to all fans of sports simulators. And to recommend it to football fans... Perhaps it’s simply pointless - they are probably already familiar with it, and very well. It has everything - realistic physics, beautiful graphics, an interesting career mode. There is also a hotsit mode - that is, you can play together with one keyboard or using joysticks. Overall, I highly, highly recommend it.

9. Grid 2

It was impossible not to include this magnificent race from Codemasters in this top. It has everything a good racing simulator needs - really high-quality graphics, excellent motion physics (which is especially good when you fly off the track again), easy-to-learn controls, which, however, are not simplified beyond the necessary. And, as a bonus, the opportunity to tear apart a beautiful sports car almost into parts. And, in addition, there is a split-screen mode, thanks to which the game can be played just fine by two people. In general, play for your health.

8. Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team

Recommended, first of all, to all fans of the Warhammer universe. Or those who like dynamic action games in which the screen is constantly splashed with something red. Here we have four classes to choose from - two melee specialists, and two marksmen. And we also have a task - to clear the huge ship on which the orcs are flying to the Empire from everything, at least theoretically living. We play in third person mode. The campaign can be completed by two people, and in addition, you can try the survival mode (also for two). It is available on those maps that you have already opened during the course of the storyline, and is designed to test your strength. In general, there are no special frills, but the game is addictive.

7. Galacide

Very funny thing. To be honest, it was very difficult to determine the genre of this creation. It seems that we are controlling a spaceship - but there is no smell of simulators here. Everything happens in 2D. And the gameplay is reminiscent of some strange hybrid of Tetris and Arkanoid, and even with an admixture of classic Lines. And at the end of each level a boss awaits us. In general, I don’t know what to call it. There are several different ships, there is a cooperative. Only for one PC, but can be played by up to 4 people. And despite the weird, vague genre (or maybe because of it), Galacide is fun to play.

6. Magicka 2

It was impossible to ignore this fun arcade game. It can't boast of any incredible graphics, but that's not its main advantage. Here we have a serviceable plot based on Norse myths and sprinkled with a good dose of humor. There is an interesting magic system that can give odds to many other fantasy projects. And there is a great co-op that will allow you to while away the evening with friends. Although, I'm understating it - you will spend much more than one evening playing this game. Magicka 2 is one of the few games that are designed specifically for team play. There are too many enemies here for a single person. And all the delights of “friendly fire” (friendly fire, in English) can only be experienced in a cooperative. Have fun playing together!

5. Lara Croft and the temple of Osiris

Another game from the Tomb Rider series, which, however, is done quite well. The plot does not shine with particular originality - after all, only the lazy have not trampled on the topic of Egyptian myths. And in the Tomb Raider series, our heroine goes to Egypt in almost every part of the game. However, about the plot - this time Lara joins forces with another adventurer, Carter Bell, and two Egyptian gods - Horus and Isis. Together they must piece together Osiris and defeat the evil god Set. Lots of references to Egyptian mythology (the developers clearly did not neglect to study this topic) and excellent gameplay designed for several players - all this is Lara Croft and the temple of Osiris.

4.Resident Evil 6

Do we need to introduce this game? After all, Resident Evil is perhaps the standard of zombie games. Here we have beautiful graphics, for which I would like to especially thank the designers, and excellent gameplay, both dynamic and frightening, and a good plot. I must say that the developers clearly liked the idea from the fifth part of the game (you could also play there together, if that), and they decided to go further. Now we have even more interaction with partners, there are also more partners themselves, and in general, Resident Evil has become not so much about single heroes, but about well-coordinated teamwork. And then... then I’ll just recommend that you play this wonderful toy with your friends.

3. Eador: Lords of the Worlds and Eador: Creation

That's right, two games. True, they do not differ that much. To be honest, Lords of the Worlds is the same Eador: Creation, but with more beautiful graphics (in the first part it was somewhere on the level of the second Heroes of Might and Magic, and even without animation), with a shorter campaign and with some additions to the gameplay. The game should appeal to all fans of thoughtful turn-based strategies. It must be said that Eador has one drawback - it is difficult to master. A huge tree of buildings in the castle (to be honest, even titans like Civilization are nervously smoking on the sidelines), a very interesting combat system (which can only be rivaled by King’s Bounty) - all this has to be mastered long and hard. But an interesting campaign and a well-made hotsite completely make up for this shortcoming. So, go ahead, conquerors!

2. Mortal Combat X

The tenth part of the cult fighting game has appeared on PC. As always, no censorship, only blood and cruelty on the screen. Therefore, it is better to keep small children and impressionable women away from the monitor. And don’t try to repeat all this in reality! But seriously, this game is suitable for co-op with friends like no other. There will be no co-op here - only PvP. And the emotions when your friend destroys your favorite fighter with his fatality. However, maybe everything will be different, and you yourself will wipe the noses of your bosom rivals. In general, I won’t describe Mortal Kombat for a long time, I’d rather just wish you good luck in the upcoming battles!

1. Heroes of Might and Magic III-V

Well, we’ve reached the first game in our top. To be honest, I couldn’t choose one part out of the seven that have been released so far. Heroes of Might and Magic VII was released on September 29, I haven’t played it yet. In the end, I decided to focus on three parts – the third, fourth and fifth. Briefly describe the gameplay? Well, if you are not familiar with Heroes... We choose a castle, rebuild it, gather an army and develop a hero. Heroes develop in battles. You also need to collect resources along the way, capture sources of these resources and enemy castles. And don’t forget about artifacts - they also need to be collected. Well, that's all. All parts of the series have a superbly implemented hotspot, which is why it simply could not be ignored. Oh yes, one more thing - when you gain some experience in the game - tell me which castle is the best, okay?

Participants are divided into two teams. The first team calls the second player. He is given a word, which he must show solely with the help of facial expressions and gestures, without saying anything. His teammates are trying to guess what he is depicting.

A limited time is given for guessing, for example a minute. Then everything is repeated with a player from the other team.

In a more complex version of “Crocodile”, a phrase is made. For example, a quote from a famous song or quatrain, a proverb, a saying, and so on.

2. Hat

The game involves two teams, which must have the same number of players. Each participant writes 5–6 words on cards (small pieces of paper) (one word per piece of paper). Then the cards are put into a hat.

The first player draws a card from the hat and, at a signal, begins to explain the word written on it to one of the players. You cannot mention words of the same root or consonant; you can use metaphors, synonyms, and abstract explanations. The second player's task is to express his versions and manage to guess the word in 20 or 30 seconds. If it works, the card remains with the team, if not, it is put back in the hat.

Then the players of the second team guess the word in the same way, and so on until the hat is empty. The team with the most cards wins.

3. What is he doing?

This is a kind of variation of “The Hat”. Players are divided into teams. Each of them writes some action on a piece of paper, for example: change a diaper, flip pancakes, ride a Ferris wheel, pass an exam, dance in the fan zone at a rock concert, and so on.

The player draws out the task and tries silently, only with gestures and facial expressions, to show this action to his teammate.

The rest of the rules are the same as in “The Hat”: the team with the most artistic and quick-witted players who collect the most cards wins.

4. Contact

juripozzi/Depositphotos.com

One of the players is appointed as the leader. He thinks of a word - a common noun in the nominative case and singular - and names its first letter. The rest of the players can ask the leader leading questions, meaning a specific word.

For example, the word “cow” is guessed. The player remembers the word starting with the letter “k” and asks the host: “Isn’t this a place that children really love?” (carousel). If someone guesses what is meant, he says: “Contact!” Both players count to ten and say the word in unison. If both named “carousel”, the presenter opens the second letter “o”. If the second player made a mistake and said, for example, “ship,” everyone thinks further.

The presenter’s task is to understand as quickly as possible what word the player has guessed and name it while the “contacting” participants count to ten (“No, this is not a carousel”). If he succeeds, the second letter does not open.

The game continues until someone guesses the hidden word. In this case, the winner becomes the leader.

5. Answer in 5 seconds

Participants are divided into two teams. Each one comes up with a musical task and challenges a rival player. For example: name three rock styles; three musical heroes; three songs that are good to listen to in a traffic jam; three associations with the word “radio” or “rhythm”; three musical professions; three objects that are on stage during a performance, and so on. The player must answer within five seconds.

The tasks can be changed: not musical tasks, but, for example, sports, geographical, natural or even local history tasks.

6. Danetki

A game with very simple rules. The presenter imagines a situation and briefly describes it. For example: “A man jumped out of a plane, but remained alive. How did it happen?" Players can ask questions to which the host can only answer “yes” or “no.” For example:

Did he fall into the ocean?
- No.
- Was he with a parachute?
- No.
- Was he saved in the air by another parachutist?
- No.
- Was the person on a moving plane?
- No.
- Was the plane on the ground?
- Yes.

Situations can be invented of any complexity. The main thing is that they have at least some logic. The one who solved the situation becomes the leader.

7. Who am I?

Each player writes the name of a popular hero or the name of an item on a small piece of paper. After this, the sheets are shuffled and distributed to all participants. They stick them on their foreheads without looking.

The players sit in a circle. Each of them can ask questions. For example: “Am I human?”, “Am I with huge legs?”, “Am I green?” Once the answer is “no”, the right to ask questions passes to the next player in a clockwise direction.

This is a knockout game: whoever guesses that he is a stool or Sherlock leaves the circle. Everything continues until the only one left is the one who cannot guess what kind of inscription is on his forehead.

8. Twister

Three or four people can play twister at the same time. To play you need equipment - a white field with circles of green, yellow, blue and red, arranged six in four rows. Plus a flat roulette divided into four sectors: each of them corresponds to a specific hand or leg and is further divided into sections of four colors. The presenter spins the arrow and tells which sector and which particular arm or leg the player should move to.

You can make a twister field yourself on the grass using a cardboard box with a circle cut out in the bottom and spray paint in four colors. And replace the roulette with cards with the inscriptions “right foot”, “left hand”, “red”, “blue” and so on, which the presenter pulls out of a hat or box.

If you don’t want to part with your smartphone even in the fresh air, you can download apps to play with others.

9. Alias

A game similar to Crocodile, but with certain limitations. Participants are divided into pairs and sit opposite each other. The first player receives a word in the application, which he needs to show to his partner using synonyms, gestures, translations into foreign languages, and so on.

For each word guessed, the pair receives a point. If the process does not proceed, the word can be updated - in this case the team loses a point. A minute later, the smartphone is given to another couple. Those who score the most points win.

10. Spaceteam

Spaceteam is a team game for groups of up to eight people who shout technical nonsense at each other. This continues until their ship explodes.
